MOST – CZECH REPUBLIC, TECHNICAL TRACK FULL OF PLOT TWISTS!
Czech Republic – Most, not far from the German border, the Autodrom Most hosts WorldSBK Round 05. A particular track, but very technical and complete, with narrow chicanes, fast corners and a long straight with a first gear braking in turn 1. Old-school track and paddock, but always theathre of great battles and hard-fought races.
Team Pata Go Eleven and Andrea Iannone come from a Cremona Round characterized by ups and downs, where however there was no lack of speed up to the Superpole Race; re-starting from there will be the key to best tackle Round 05. The rider from Vasto raced at Autodrom Most for the first time last year, where he achieved one of the best weekends of the season: second on the starting grid, third in race 1 and seventh in race 2, but having to recover from the last position following a contact between two riders in turn 1. Here at Most, it will be important to work well on the race distance and have a good pace at the end, cause it is one of the most abrasive tracks of the whole calendar; for this reason Pirelli will provide a choice of hard SC1 tyres (with some evolutions), while the SC0 will be available for qualifying. Rather cool temperatures are expected for this mid-May Round, which could change the values on the field compared to the last edition; in 2024 the race was held in July with over 45 degrees of asphalt, while currently no more than 20 degrees are expected for the weekend.
All that remains is to wait for the green light on Friday, a fundamental day for fine-tuning the set-up of the yellow Ducati Panigale V4-R!
