JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA – WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!

JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA – WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!

Jerez 2023 Test – Post-Race – Mid-October, Andrea Iannone makes his debut on the V4-R Go Eleven. Two years, six podiums, and a victory later, he is back to the same Andalusian track for the Flamenco Last Dance!

A track as historic as it is spectacular, one of the most well-known by all riders and a winter testing base for the World Championship teams, Jerez provides a wealth of data and information. For the 2025 season, the weather forecast predicts classic southern Spanish weather; sunshine, around 30 degrees Celsius, in a weekend focus on WorldSBK championship. The asphalt here is moderately abrasive, so Pirelli has opted for a tyre set identical to Estoril, an almost mandatory choice for the race with the SCX evolution, Q for qualifying, while the new development front tyre, used in the long races last week, has been confirmed. The #29 has always proven to be very fast on the Panigale V4-R at Jerez, so much so that last year he and Van der Mark engaged in a spectacular battle for the podium, which ended with a clash on the final corner. The goal for this weekend is to fight in the top five and end this season of ups and downs on a high note.

The potential is there; who knows, maybe Andrea and Team Pata Go Eleven can surprise us one last time, together?!

Andrea Iannone (Rider):

“The final round of the season is at Jerez de la Frontera. We’re coming off two good races where we’ve always been competitive. I’ll try to maintain my speed here as well. Since my return, I’ve always done well at Jerez, both in testing and in the race. Last year, we even fought for the podium. I want to finish the season strong and give all the fans, the team, and my crew a great weekend!”
