CZECH REPUBLIC, ROUND 05; MOST TO CONFIRM THE RESULTS OF THE PREVIOUS ROUND!

CZECH REPUBLIC, ROUND 05; MOST TO CONFIRM THE RESULTS OF THE PREVIOUS ROUND!

From Balaton Park in Hungary, the WorldSBK circus moves a little further north to the Czech Republic, near the German border, for the Most round! An old-school track, back in calendar a few years ago, characterized by highly abrasive asphalt, perhaps one of the most demanding on the whole calendar. Tight chicanes, fast corners, and the Turn 1 hard braking area, theathre twists and turns, especially during the starts, make for a complete layout capable of delivering close-fought and spectacular races.

Given the high tyre wear, combined with temperatures forecast to be rather cool for the weekend, between 5 and 15 degrees, Pirelli has opted for a particularly hard tyre choice; for the race, the mandatory solution will be between two versions of the SC1, while for qualifying, the SC0 will be available, with no X or Q. It’s therefore important to emphasize how important it will be to work on Friday to find consistency for the race distance. Balda and Team Go Eleven come to Round 5 in excellent form, after a successful Sunday at Balaton Park that saw them on the podium in the Superpole Race. The goal is to build on what they left off less than two weeks ago and confirm their speed to fight for the top five. Furthermore, in Most, qualifying and the start are even more crucial, to find a gap in the first chicane and avoid getting stuck in the midfield.

All that’s left to do is take note of the schedule and follow Round 5 WorldSBK!

Lorenzo Baldassarri (Rider):
“Most is a unique track, similar to Hungary, where we’ve proven to be very fast, so I’m starting with great motivation. It’s not one of my favorite tracks, but I’ve won here in the past, although it will be very different with the Superbike. I hope the weather will be good, without rain. At Balaton we made a step forward, closing the gap to the leader, I want to continue like this and confirm my performance here in the Czech Republic, trying to bring home as many points as possible!”
