EUGENE LAVERTY WILL NOT RACE IN MISANO!

EUGENE LAVERTY WILL NOT RACE IN MISANO!

Unfortunately, after the last week in which Eugene did his best to be back in Misano, Laverty is forced to raise the white flag by not taking part at the races this weekend! The serious accident that occurred at Imola has not yet been fully recovered. Being the fracture of the wrists, fundamental in riding a powerful bike like the V4-R, we can imagine how important it is to recover in the best way.
The whole Team Go Eleven is sorry not to be able to get on track with the strong Northern Irish rider, but the Team continues to stay close to Laverty, hoping to see him back in action from the next stage: Donington Park!

For all those who will be present in Misano, there is good news: Laverty will be present in the paddock as early as Thursday. Going to ask for an autograph or photo will be a must; make your warmth felt!

Eugene Laverty (Rider):
“I’m devastated to miss Misano but it is the only real option. I must wait until I am fit to ride otherwise I risk putting both myself and the other riders in danger. I will travel to Misano to support my Team Go Eleven Ducati squad while also continuing to work on my rehabilitation program over the race weekend. I will be back on track as soon as I am ready.”

The Go Eleven Team will announce the replacement of Eugene in the coming days, stay tuned for all the information regarding the home race, Rimini WorldSBK!
