AFTER DREAMS COME TRUE, WE ARE BACK TO RACES; CIRCUIT DE BARCELONA IS THE NEXT HUNTING GROUND!

AFTER DREAMS COME TRUE, WE ARE BACK TO RACES; CIRCUIT DE BARCELONA IS THE NEXT HUNTING GROUND!

Two weeks after the amazing feat of Team Go Eleven, with three podiums in three races with a win, WorldSBK’s next stage is at Montmelò – Circuit de Barcelona!

New track to be discovered, for the first time the WorldSBK Championship lands on the Catalan circuit. No reference, no precedent: this can only increase the show on the track. Team Go Eleven and Michael Ruben Rinaldi come here from a period of exceptional shape, in a true state of grace, after the many prizes and points taken during the Aragonese weekend. It is difficult to repeat the results obtained, but there is certainly no lack of motivation to confirm at the highest levels. On this track the Go Eleven technicians and Michael will have to be even better at recovering the tests that some teams have carried out at Montmelò in recent months. For all the staff, after an exceptional weekend like the one just passed, the important thing is to return to work concentrated and determined, as if you had to start from the beginning and improve every session, trying to give to the rider a great feeling on the bike. The goal is to hit the top 5 and win again as Top Independent, increasing the advantage over the opponents in view of the two final Rounds.

There are only a few hours left until the green light … let’s see what the Circuit de Barcelona has in store!

Michael Rinaldi (Rider):
“We are at the Barcelona Circuit, a track where I have never ridden Superbike: I memorized the turns thanks to a day on the road bike a few months ago, while other riders were doing the tests. I liked the layout of the track a lot. We are coming from a very positive period, after my first career victory in Superbike and Race 2 where we fought until the last lap with Rea, finishing second; from a physical and mental point of view I feel at the top and I can’t wait to get on track on Friday. We know that it will be more complicated for us than the second race in Aragon, it’s the first time we ride here and on Friday we will have to use it to work on race pace, without looking too much at the final standings. It’s a track that suits both my riding style and the Ducati V4-R well, so I can’t wait to ride and have fun!”
