TT-CIRCUIT ASSEN, THE CATHEDRAL OF SPEED HOSTS ROUND 03 WORLDSBK!
The WorldSBK circus moves to Northern Europe, the Netherlands, where the TT-Circuit Assen hosts the third round of the Superbike World Championship!
The “Cathedral of Speed” is synonymous with motorcycling history, one of the most timeless tracks on the calendar, the theathre of epic duels that have forever etched the memory of fans. The weather in these areas has often played a role, adding a variable to the weekend with rain and cold; for the 2026 season, temperatures are expected to be mild, but a few drops are forecast throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.
Team Go Eleven and Lorenzo Baldassarri comes to the TT-Circuit to confirm the strong results achieved in the first two rounds; the layout here is completely different compared to Portimao, and proving fast and fighting for the top six in the Netherlands would further show their solidity. Regarding tyres, two versions of the SC0 will be used here, including a new evolution to ensure greater performance consistency, and the SCX for qualifying; A rather hard tyre choice to cope with the cool temperatures.
Assen will also be the first track where no team has tested through the winter, so Friday will be crucial to finding a good base and setup for the weekend. All we have to do is wait a few hours and stay tuned to follow Round 03 of WorldSBK!
Lorenzo Baldassarri (Rider):
“Assen is a wonderful track. I love it and have always been fast there. I think it suits my riding style. After Portimao, I worked hard to reduce the problem with my forearms, and I’m confident, but Friday will give us the definitive answer. Tomorrow, we’ll also try to complete as many laps as possible to gain important information for the races. We don’t have any data here in Assen with this new Panigale. The goal is to confirm my position close to the top 5, but the important thing is to continue scoring points and feeling good on the bike!”
