AT OUR HOME; CREMONA CIRCUIT HOSTS ROUND 10!
There’s nothing like racing on home soil! WorldSBK returns to Italy for the second home round of the season; Cremona Circuit is gearing up to host the tenth round, kicking off the final stretch of the 2026 production-based championship.
Team Go Eleven comes fresh from a solid results at Magny-Cours, where Balda narrowly missed out on the podium. The pace is there; the goal here is to get the most out of the opportunities missed at Misano. Furthermore, the battle for fifth place in the overall standings is wide open, making it crucial to score points. Rider number 34 got a taste of the Lombardy circuit—making its third WorldSBK appearance—during a test day in early September, though the afternoon session was hampered by rain. Balda has never raced a full weekend here, so hard work will be required on Friday to dial in the right setup. Regarding tyres, Pirelli is introducing a new rear development option within the SCX family, aiming for greater rear-end stability; this joins the standard SCX and the SCQ (for qualifying and the Superpole Race) in the lineup. The forecast promises ideal conditions for the three-day Italian event: no rain and typical late-summer temperatures.
Now, all that remains is to wait for the green light—everything is set for the home round!

“Cremona is a track I don’t know very well; I had the chance to ride it during testing with the Ducati WorldSBK team and felt pretty good on the bike. Unfortunately, the rain limited how much work we could do. It’s not one of my favorite tracks on the calendar—it’s a bit small for a Superbike and lacks any ‘heart-in-your-mouth’ sections—but what matters is scoring points and racing at the front. We got back to being competitive at Magny-Cours, and I want to prove that again here!”
